1. Re Posting from Australia to Bali 8 years ago I post to Bali & have done so for a few years now & every parcel/box i have sent has arrived intact. The address i send the parcels to is also a shop. I have posted a necklace from a jeweller shop, clothing, toys, art marterial eg sketch books, charcoal pencils/coloured pencils etc. I recently posted a parcel with clothing, almost 3weeks to arrive that's not unusual. Only once has a parcel not arrived at the address as the postie could not find it due to street having a new name I emailed the receipt details eg Aust Post office it was sent from/day/time/tracking ID & friends were able to collect parcel from Kuta Post Office. I secure boxes/parcels well with the wide sticky/postpak tape.i realize if someone wanted to get inside they could cut/break the tape/parcel/box but i feel a tad happier knowing i have secured it the best i can I'd have a chat if you have not alreadyto your local post office staff or call Aust Post to ask for their advice, they helped me with the parcelabove & were able to check & tell me it was returned back to Kuta post office by the postie.
Idon't suppose there is a link to a website where I can find out (my Indonesian is good enough to read sites in Indonesian). Snail mail (by sea) is fine - I want to do it as cheaply as possible, Was thinking perhaps Rp. 50k-100k for a small package with just a tshirt (about 200g) Any help would be greatly appreciated.
